There is no explanation.
No words can describe.
The void.
The hurt.
Left feeling empty,
filling it with wrongs.
Seeking out,
only brings pain.
Scary thoughts flit.
Could be so easy.
Drown out the pain,
crush out the lonliness.
There is no simple answer.

Bardouble29 (aka Barb) has always loved to write. Writing has proven to be a way to deal with the tough parts of life. Her poetry tends to be a little on the dark and sad side. She loves making words come alive. But she can be known to throw in poems of other venue.

Love the first two couplets. The void and the hurt. But at least this person is still feeling the pain, and has not been made numb by their experience.
